Canvas transfer is a specialized process that transforms your prints, posters, or photographs into high-quality canvas artwork, creating a piece that resembles an original painting. Our meticulous, multi-step process ensures a finished product that radiates quality and durability.

Our Process

• Laminating the Print: The print is coated with a UV-protected laminate film (matte or luster finish) to ensure lasting durability.
• Softening the Paper: The laminated print is soaked to soften the paper backing.
• Removing the Paper: We carefully remove the softened paper by hand, leaving only the ink layer on the laminate film.
• Applying to Canvas: The laminated ink layer is pressed onto high-quality, 100% cotton canvas using heat and pressure, allowing the canvas texture to enhance the print.
• Stretching and Framing: The canvas is then stretched onto a wooden frame (stretcher bar) and the edge is finished with a black or white canvas edge tape, ready to hang.

This method produces a canvas piece that mimics the depth and texture of an original painting. It is a similar look to our giclée printing onto canvas.
