Our Story

Cloudburst Designs Inc. started out in 1992 as a small wholesale company offering wood (plaque) mounting and canvas transfer services to local retailers (picture framing shops, artists, photographers, interior designers and art galleries) in Vancouver, BC.  

We plaque mounted and canvas transferred everything from posters, photos, newspaper articles, maps, certificates to children’s artwork.  If it was on paper we did it!  Before long, we had customers all over Canada receiving our services.  

Cloudburst Designs had become the largest manufacturer of these types of services in Western Canada. 

Fast forward over 25 years, and hundreds of thousands of plaques and canvases later, our business is now capable of much more. With our large-format inkjet printers, we are able to download and print images directly onto photo paper, canvas, as well as aluminum.  

As a result, we are now implementing on-line retail orders.  While our wholesale services to our resellers is still a huge part of our business, we are pleased to expand our operations and offer our retail services to individual customers throughout Canada. 

We are particularly proud of the fact that we manufacture all our products in-house using Canadian supplies and look forward to transforming your images into art!
